About

Cozy, clean and great vibe! This updated (including solar battery backup) cottage with a modern retro flair is in a walkable location near the General Store, Coastal Kitchen, and main beach access. It is a sleepier section of the village with a peekaboo view of the ocean from the corner of the deck, and pastoral views from the fully fenced backyard. There's even a doggy door for your medium or smaller furry friend.

Good to know

ABOUT DOGS: We LOVE DOGS (madly, I tell you) but are only 710 square feet please: Two dogs and 4 people max. While we are dog friendly, we are amazingly super clean. I know, right? But it's true! I credit our super-hero cleaning crew who always goes above and beyond to make the Sundog sparkle for you. We also have very washable furnishings (Ruggables, etc) to make sure you are comfortable and we are clean. I have twins, so, you know... experience. Backyard is fully fenced and secure with a charcoal BBQ grill, and picnic table. The birds are almost always singing here. We are clean and peaceful and serene, and hope that is what draws you in to stay with us!

House rules

Shhhhhh 9pm - 8am Our neighbors live here full time. Please do not let your dog poop in their yard (and always clean up after them on the street and beach) . Please do not block neighboring driveways. Due to our small but mighty size, as well as our septic system, we simply can't accommodate a group larger than 4 or parties of daytime visitors. There are a lot of homes here that can, tho! Just not The Sundog. What lives at the beach, stays at the beach. Our gorgeous coastline is home to much sea life that you are likely to enjoy viewing in their natural habitat! These are sensitive creatures, so please leave them where are, and allow them to thrive. Thank you!

Neighborhood

The Dillon Beach Village is a charming little town with a mixture of full time and part time residents. Our neighborhood is a sleepier side of the village a stones throw from the store and restaurant. A short jaunt past the new tiny homes, and you're at the main beach. We are neighbors first, as we live just down the street from here, and so excited to help make a special experience for you. Parking is very limited with only one driveway spot, so please plan accordingly. With all of this in mind, please message prior to booking and let's see if we are a good fit for one another!

The house is yours! There is nobody else living there. :) The lower door is storage space, only.

Find us

Walking to the store and beach you have two options. For the more spry, risk taker, a straight shot down while you look out vehicles coming into the beach. Otherwise, for the more nonchalant, leisurely stroll enjoying the views and fellowship throughout the village, walk north to North St. (haha) Turn left and left again at Cypress (the green house). You're now in eyeshot! See that? Easy peasy!
